It is great honour for me to have be elected President of ECSACONM a professional organization which strives for excellence. I would like to convey my appreciation to the outgoing Executive led by former President Keoagetse Kgwabi for the sterling job they have done for the College.

I want to thank the Chapters for trusting me in leading the College to greater heights. I believe that the leadership acumen gained over the years and the experience I have with the college, will come in handy in meeting the mandate of the assignment. Having been part of the outgoing executive, is an advantage for me because I know where we left off. I promise that together with my team we will continue propelling the College to greater exploits.

Dear colleagues, I bring vast experience in Nursing and Midwifery. Having clinical experience of 22 years, Regulatory experience of 12 years, administrative experience and as one of the founders of the Association in Eswatini, and last but not least a Chief Nursing Officer, I believe that this will be handy in propelling the college forward.

My Vision is to transform the College to be the Centre of Excellence in the training of nurses and midwives of the region and beyond as well as encouraging research and sharing of best practices.

For realization of the vision, I am alive that the following skills are needed.

  1. LEADERSHIP – Having served in many organizational structures for a number of years and my past and present leadership positions where I have excelled in transforming organizations such as the Nursing Council to name but a few: I am confident and believe that as President of ECSACONM I will bring leadership qualities that are required in leading the organization to greater heights.
  2. TRANSFORMATION – ECSACONM like any other college which prides itself in excellence requires robust transformation in structural and functional areas in the office to bring about change that is effective and efficient. This can be achieved by ensuring that there are enough resources to conduct ECSACONM business. This calls for a robust resource mobilization strategy which I promise to embark upon.
  3. TEAMWORK – I am an action and result driven person who strives in working as a team. I have no doubt that working with the Team and Countries we will achieve more.
